Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)

What is ADHD?

ADHD is a neurodevelopmental condition that can affect attention, executive functioning, activity level, and impulse control. It can show up differently across children, adolescents, and adults and may impact different areas of everyday life, from school and work to relationships and routines.

ADHD is often used as an umbrella term, but there are three presentations: predominantly inattentive, predominantly hyperactive/impulsive, and combined. Because ADHD looks different from person to person, there is no single “ADHD experience” and understanding how it shows up for you is an important part of finding the right support.
